This Misty Hills Heart Fused Dichroic Glass Pin / Pendant is great because you can choose to wear it as either a pin or a pendant. I call this piece misty hills because it has a background pattern of continuous copper-bronze arches that remind me of drawn out hills and green patterned dichroic glass on the lower part of the piece. It then has upper layers of dichroic glass that are transparent in color with various shades of reflective color such as pink, yellow, green, and a pale blue. It is like cutting through the soft layer of foggy mist and a sunset to see the landscape behind it. It is a beautiful blend of depth and color. This heart is actually various layers of different patterns and colors that have been fused together in a kiln until one solid block was formed. It was then taken out and cut until the desired shape was reached, a heart. Next it was fused in the kiln again until this final result was reached. The bail is silver as well as the pin closure on the back side of the piece. This purchase does not include a chain.
