This extraordinary piece is a 5 layered piece that has different patterns and colors that can be seen on different levels adding a lot of depth and character. It includes various shades of blue, orange, yellow, pink, purple, and black with 2 small bubbles like water bubbles under a colorful sea. From the side of the piece the bottom half lis solid black and the top half is clear.
This piece has 5 layers that were put into a kiln and fused until a solid bar was formed. It was then cut, grinded, and buffered into the desired shape and put back in the kiln at a lower temperature to finish the piece off. A back piece was also attached in the kiln so that a necklace could slide through the back of the piece.
This necklace includes a black satin cord which was tied using a chinese slip knot so that it can be slid to adjust the size.
